The new premises are specifically designed for servicing forestry equipment, and will enable good customer service and growth in the future as well. In the new premises, four machines can be serviced at the same time. As well as spare part sales and warehousing, the service centre has training facilities for customer, driver and staff training. Logset Oy appoints a new Vice President of Production
Mike Oinas joins Logset from Wärtsilä, where he has been responsible for the product group electrical generators for power plants. Over the past 19 years, he has acquired a broad experience within industrial design, purchasing, production and quality, in both large and medium-sized companies in Finland and abroad. He will play a central role in expanding Logset’s production capacity, both internally and in their supply chain, as well as improving the quality of the entire supply chain. Source
John Deere completes the global rollout of their new website design
The site design is mobile responsive and works on a variety of screen sizes, from smart phones and tablets to traditional desktop computers. It is designed to contain concise product information and easy-to-use navigation. It has more useful tools for those who shop for and own Deere products and services. JCB celebrates the production of their 500,000th engine
Four-cylinder diesel engines first began rolling off the line at JCB Power Systems in Derbyshire in November 2004 when the company employed just 64 people and in the first year of production less than 10,000 engines were produced. The Foston-based business has grown dramatically since then and the workforce now stands at almost 400. If all half million engines were laid out end-to-end, they would stretch from London to Paris. Case adds the 650M dozer to its M Series product line
A new 54 kW (74 hp) Tier 4 Final dozer replaces the previous model (the 650L). It has increased drawbar pull, improved undercarriage design with improved track frame, idler, sprockets, rollers and extended-life SALT HD tracks, as well as a reinforced mainframe, and other standard features of the M Series dozer line.
