Kesla updates their harvester head range

The Kesla 20RH and 16RH have been completely revamped.
The 20RH-II is a general purpose harvester head for thinning and clearcutting of smaller trees. It has a new frame which is more durable than its predecessor and the length and diameter measuring devices have been redesigned. A new valve set-up improves oil flow which allows the head to feed quicker and be more fuel efficient. The blade flange has been lengthened to allow the head to cut a larger diameter stem.

The Kesla 16RH is the smallest model in the range and is used in first thinning operations. The frame structure has been strengthened and the hose routing and component protection improved. The 16RH now has a support roll similar to the 20RHand 25RH models, which reduces the load of the timber feed and prevents the length measurement roller being blocked. The length measurement roller has been redesigned, resulting in improved precision and better durability. Source: www.kesla.fi
