Case unleashes a new fleet of construction equipment

New models include excavators, digging components, loader / backhoes and wheeled loaders.

The Case CX210C excavator uses a Tier 4 Interim, 119 kW (160 hp) engine. Case states 10 % fuel economy gains, 3 % cycle time reduction, and a 7 % lift capacity increase as being some of the most important improvements. The cab has 19 % better visibility than previous models. One version of the excavator is available with a reduced width undercarriage, measuring 2.59 m (8 ft 6 in) wide, which enables easier transport.

Case Smart Digging System components include new pin-on buckets, coupler buckets, the Case Multi-Fit Coupler and the SmartFit bucket teeth system. Consult the Case website for more information on each of these products and their application.

The N-Series backhoe product line feature new engines. The 580 and 590 Series use 3.4 litre turbocharged engines that are Tier 4 Interim certified. Engine power ranges from 58 kW (78 hp) for the 580N to 80 kW (108 hp) in the 590SN. New standard features include automatic ride control on all 4-wheel drive models that engage at certain speeds to prevent bucket spillage, and new dipper teeth that enable unusual sized debris to be easily collected.

The 621F wheeled loader boasts a 10 % increase in fuel economy over the previous model. Faster acceleration, quicker cycle times and faster travel speeds have also been achieved. This is possible due to a 6.7 litre, Tier 4 Interim engine, that produces up to 121 kW (162 hp) of power. The machine is classified as a 2.1 m3 (2.75 yd3) loader, and has an operating weight of 12,084 kg (26,641 lb). Source: www.casece.com
