October seems to be the month for harvester heads. In this first issue of October, three different manufactures release heads for different applications. Waratah have released a new version of their very popular HTH622B harvester head, Kesla have produced a harvester head designed for use with tractors and Komatsu Forest have announced a head dedicated to plantation eucalypt harvesting. On the roading side (and possibly log extraction), John Deere present their new E-II articulated dump trucks with a significant number of improvements over the previous model. Finally, we look back at some of the innovations which Logset had incorporated into their logging machines in the recent future.
