Bell Equipment will be showcasing three new products.
The much-anticipated Bell Motor Grader, which goes into full production in Q3, is the showstopper. The range offers three base models, available in four-wheel drive or six-wheel drive to suit a customer’s specific needs. These machines are powered by quiet and efficient Cummins engines paired with smooth ZF transmissions, ensuring reliability and fuel efficiency. Designed for longer roading, Bell Graders feature enhanced trunnion bearing life and integrated axle cooling, extending brake life.
A precision-sealed circle bearing ensures exceptional grading accuracy while minimising wear and maintenance. The hydromechanical transmission with tandem axle creep provides superior control, while the cantilevered ripper ensures the most effective ripping angle. Additionally, an on-the-go automatic differential lock delivers traction precisely when needed.
In addition, Bell Equipment is expanding its trusted Series 5 Tractor range with a 4x4 200 hp (147 kW) model, the Bell 2006AF, which will be on display. Offering more power for an improved power-to-weight ratio and increased fuel economy, this model is a game-changer for those requiring a robust and efficient agricultural workhorse.
Powered by a robust and reliable John Deere engine that delivers 785Nm of torque through an Allison automatic transmission, the 2006AF achieves haul speeds of up to 40km/h (25 mi/h) and handles undulating terrain with ease, thanks to its automatic 4x4 feature, which detects wheelspin and engages 4x4 until full grip is restored. Rear disc brakes provide safe and effective braking performance. A prototype, tested extensively by a Namibian customer, has already clocked over 5 000 hours hauling 40-tonne loads of timber on haul cycles of up to 65km (40 mi).
The JCB 3CX Pro Backhoe Loader completes the line-up and is engineered for maximum efficiency and cost savings. Featuring a redesigned ROPS/FOPS-certified cab for improved visibility and safety, this machine enhances operator comfort and productivity. A simplified single-lever loader control with an integrated directional switch allows for one-handed operation, while the EasyShift transmission streamlines gear changes. Enhanced hydraulics with a variable flow pump further improve fuel efficiency.
Powered by a 69 kW (94 hp) turbo engine, the JCB 3CX Pro is equipped with seat-mounted servo controls, a front 6-in-1 bucket, and optional tools like flip-over forks and an ‘extradig’ dipper for added versatility. Source

It is designed for land clearing, biomass production, forestry, wood processing, mulch production, and landscaping.
Powered by either a 755 hp (555 kW) or 550 hp (405 kW) engine, the ChipMax 364T Whole Tree Chipper features an improved chute geometry, enhancing chip throw for more efficient trailer packing. A standard chip accelerator optimizes performance by providing consistent output across varying chip sizes. Additionally, the service platform next to the engine provides a convenient space for routine maintenance, simplifying oil checks and upkeep for operators.
The ChipMax 364T also offers flexibility with two rotor options alongside the innovative CBI rotor design, which allows for quick and easy rotor swaps. This makes it simple to adjust chip sizes for operators to produce a range of materials as needed, from consistent micro-chips to larger 30mm chips, catering to diverse market demands. From design to execution, the ChipMax 364T Whole Tree Chipper has aimed at simplicity and reliability. Source

John Deere Rolls Out Upgraded Engine and Advanced Vision System for Articulated Dump Trucks
John Deere is enhancing its portfolio of articulated dump trucks with the introduction of next-generation models, now featured across the 260 P-Tier, 310 P-Tier, 410 P-Tier, and 460 P-Tier. The 410 P-Tier and 460 P-Tier models are powered by the new JD14 engine and come equipped with the industry-first Advanced Vision System, setting a new standard in performance.
Designed with serviceability and repairability in mind, the JD14 engine, featuring Hydraulic Lash Adjusters and integrated oil and coolant paths for enhanced reliability, helps achieve a 20% reduction in repair time by eliminating the need for valve lash maintenance and streamlining service processes. With a new HPCR (High Pressure Common Rail) fuel system, the JD14 engine has improved fuel economy and efficiency over the previous engine. Integrated harnesses increase the overall design's durability, while better battery access streamlines maintenance.
Building upon the John Deere advanced object detection and vision solutions, the new ADTs are equipped with the Advanced Vision System. This system expands an operator's field of view, and enhances operator jobsite awareness when in reverse. Digital cameras positioned on the front grill and right and left mirror bow help improve visibility to the machine's sides, while the in-cab display monitors, positioned in the operator's line of sight, offer a seamless, real-time perspective. The user-friendly interface, paired with three 8" displays, helps operators identify objects and view surroundings. The system comes standard with a digital rear camera, with these features, operators gain improved spatial awareness with wider views, auto panning views with articulation, and enhanced clarity of the jobsite. For over a century, the trucking industry has advanced combustion technology.
This effort involved partnering with policymakers to set emissions standards. When emissions like nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) were identified, Cummins collaborated with regulators to create cleaner diesel engines and components.
Since the 1980s, NOx and PM emissions from diesel engines have dropped by 98%. Today, stricter and more region-specific regulations drive the use of innovative aftertreatment technologies and system-level designs.
To meet upcoming demands from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), engines and aftertreatment systems must deliver exceptional emissions performance over longer operational durations. Cummins Emission Solutions (CES) developed a new aftertreatment system, the Twin Module, designed for enhanced compliance with evolving EPA standards. It uses an electric heating system with belt-driven 48V alternator to support cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and in-cylinder hydrocarbon dosing. This configuration ensures precise thermal management, meeting emission standards while maintaining engine efficiency and durability.
The electric heating system’s scalable design also prepares for future regulations. The Twin Module can adapt to stricter standards with minimal changes to the chassis, reducing costs and complexity.
While EPA sets a high bar in North America, Europe’s forthcoming Euro 7 regulations present their own set of challenges. These standards require significant reductions in NOx and particulate numbers (PN) compared to Euro 6 levels, alongside fleet-wide CO2 reduction targets enforced through the Vehicle Energy Consumption Calculation Tool (VECTO). By 2025, OEMs must achieve a 15% reduction in CO2 emissions at the vehicle level compared to 2019, with a 45% reduction mandated by 2030.
CES has developed innovative solutions such as dual dosing systems, which enable precise control of emissions. CES’s offerings include DEF and hydrocarbon dosing systems, mixers, e-heaters, and DEF filters. These solutions support a variety of powertrain technologies, covering clean diesel, hybrid systems, battery electric vehicles (BEVs), and hydrogen internal combustion engines (H2 ICE). Source
