International Construction has released their 2012 Yellow Table that ranks construction equipment manufacturers by sales.
Still at the top of the ranking is Caterpillar, followed by Komatsu. The top 10 positions are as follows:

Volvo leap-frogged Hitachi to take third position, while Liebherr remains unchanged in fifth. Chinese companies Sany and Zoomlion continue to improve their rankings, with each moving up one position to occupy positions six and seven respectively. Terex moves from tenth in 2011 to eighth in 2012, while Doosan drops three positions to ninth. Rounding off the top 10 is John Deere, who has improved two positions from twelfth in 2011.
