Timber haulier driver training

Free driver training material is available off the web.

The Timber Transport Forum of the United Kingdom has produced training material for timber hauliers that transport logs from the forest to the sawmill. The material is meant to be sufficient as a one day course for truck drivers. The material consists of:
 

• The timber haulier driver training programme document. This provides a background to the driver training, very interesting essential core information for drivers, as well as a range of assessment material and checklists.
• A PowerPoint presentation. This is a basic presentation that is meant to guide the presenter of the training material through the course content.
