This is the third generation 591 LX head, which was first launched in 2007.
Since the first version launch in 2007, the SP 591 LX has gained a good reputation for its handling capabilities of crooked and difficult to debark species of eucalypts and acacia. - Better hose routing to the centre feed motors for increased uptime and a longer useful life.
- Improved protection on the knife cylinder for better reliability and a longer life on the seal kit.
- An optional separate length measuring unit for operations requiring highly accurate length measuring.
