Product enhancements from John Deere

A feller buncher long boom option and a knuckleboom loader circular saw option are now available.

John Deere’s 903K and 909K tracked feller bunchers now have the option of a new long boom, enabling more trees to be reached with less machine movement. The maximum reach is now 9.8 m (32 ft), which is a 10.6% increase over the standard boom when used with John Deere’s FR21B disc saw felling head. The new long boom also provides an increased cutting swath, enabling more trees to be handled from one location. John Deere’s optional rapid cycle system (RCS) is also available with the new long boom.

The 437D knuckleboom loader now has the option of mobile hydraulics and circular saw options. The 437D can now power a circular saw, a self-propelled trailer, or both. The circular saw hydraulics enables loggers to run a circular saw attachment for crosscutting multiple stems at once. The mobile hydraulics can be used with self-propelled trailers, allowing them to be mobile around the jobsite. Source: www.johndeere.com
