Peterson's new light 2710D grinder is suited for worksite mobility

The 2710D is designed for operations requiring high production and frequent moves between jobs.

The 2710D is amongst the lightest of Peterson’s grinder series, weighting 30,900 kg (68,100 pounds). It is powered by a Caterpillar C15 Tier IV, 433 kW (580 hp) engine, or an optional C18 Tier II, (570 kW (765 hp) engine. It is able to process a wide range of materials. This is due to a number of factors, including a large feed opening of 153 x 81 cm (60¾ x 32 in). When used with Peterson’s high lift feed roll, the feed opening’s maximum lift of 112 cm (44 in) is amongst the largest in its class.

The 2710D has a large grate area that allows it to produce materials to precise specifications. A quick-change multiple grate system makes it easy to customize grate configurations to produce a wide variety of finished materials. Grates are removed through an easy-access door on the side wall. Triple grouser, 50 cm (19¾ in) wide tracks enable better handling on hilly or rocky terrain. http://www.petersoncorp.com/products/2710d-horizontal-grinder/
