16,000th Ponsse forest machine completed

The 16,000th Ponsse forest machine was completed at the end of September at Ponsse’s factory in Vieremä, Finland. The Ponsse Ergo harvester delivered to Celulose Nipo-Brasileira S.A. (CENIBRA) will operate in eucalypt plantations in Brazil to meet the needs of local pulp production. The 16,000th machine was completed during Ponsse’s 50th anniversary. Source

Tigercat has released a new RemoteLog® portal with several enhancements

The enhancements include a new diagnostics dashboard, machine summary report, machine management, enhanced machine management and new production metrics. A single click brings up technical information for any fault code. The new one-stop machine summary report is now sent to users weekly. Mulchers now report mulched land area to give a sense of their productivity. Harvesters and processors report production volumes and stem counts while forwarders report number of loads. Source

John Deere enhances the technology capabilities of its GP-Series motor graders with new automation features — Machine Damage Avoidance, and industry exclusives, Blade Stow and Auto-Gain for Cross Slope.
