John Deere third quarter results show strength considering the global pandemic and uncertain market conditions
Deere & Company reported net income of $811 million for the third quarter. Worldwide net sales and revenues decreased 11 percent, to $8.925 billion, for the third quarter of 2020 and declined 12 percent, to $25.809 billion, for nine months. Thanks to aggressive measures taken early in the crisis, Deere has success kept employees safe, their factories and parts centres functioning, and their customers served. Source
Morbark announces a leadership change
Morbark announced the appointment of Bradley Boehler as the successor to current Vice President of Alamo Group’s Forestry and Tree Care Business Unit and President of Morbark Holdings, Dave Herr, effective August 24, 2020. Herr joined Morbark initially as a board director and then as its CEO in October 2016. He successfully led the Company through a period of growth, operational improvement, acquisition, and integration of complementary businesses, including Rayco Manufacturing, LLC, and Denis Cimaf, Inc., and finally, the transfer of ownership to Alamo Group in 2019. Tigercat appoints a new Sales Specialist for Tigercat AB in Sweden
Stefan Carlsson, based in Nas, Sweden, has taken on the role of sales specialist for Tigercat AB. Stefan is covering the mid-region of the country, specifically the areas of Värmland, Dalarna, Gavleborg, Örebro, Västmanland, Uppsala, Södermanland, and Stockholm. He has an extensive forestry background with over 20 years’ experience as a machine operator as well as a heavy equipment technician. Stefan has a strong understanding of cut-to-length harvesting systems and the Swedish forestry equipment market. Source
