Engine emissions – John Deere receives Interim Tier 4 and EU Stage III B certifications for its 56 kW (75 hp) to 130 kW (174 hp) off-highway engines.
Three models within this power range have been certified as being compliant. These are the PWX 4.5L, PVX 4.5L and the PowerTech PVX 6.8L. These emission regulations begin in January 2012, and require a 90% reduction in diesel particulate matter (PM) and an approximat 30% reduction in Nitrogen oxide from previous Tier 3 and Stage III A requirements. New from Morbark - The Beever M18RX AU brush chipper
