John Deere expands manufacturing capacity for logging machines at its Joensuu factory (Finland)
Deere will invest US $ 8.5 million dollars to produce 40% more machines daily and improve the productivity of other key functions. A new 1,500 square metre building will be added. John Deere indicates that global sales of cut-to-length machines have increased dramatically. The Joensuu factory is the world’s largest producer of forestry machines for the cut-to-length market. Tigercat and CBI collaborate with chain-flail processing system
Tigercat developed the 215 loader for mounting on the CBI Magnum Force Flail 604. The Tigercat 215 loader is powered by a Cat C4.4 Tier III 96 kW (129 hp) engine. The chassis of the 604 is also manufactured for CBI by Tigercat.
