Tigercat began in 1992 with a few employees working in the back corner of MacDonalds Steel fabrication shop. The aim was to design and build a better feller buncher than was currently available on the market. John Deere sales of construction and forestry equipment forecasted to increase by 20% in 2012

Ponsse reports improved sales for the first quarter of 2012
Sales increased by 6.7 % compared to the corresponding period in 2011. Other operating conditions were described as normal, with the order book remaining positive at Euro 67.3 million. The profit before taxes was Euro 4.0 million.
