European news - Metla to coordinate EU research into new technologies for forest biomass supply chains.
The research is titled “Innovative and effective technology and logistics for forest residual biomass supply in the EU – INFRES”. The project has 23 partners, including research organisations and equipment manufacturers. The project duration is three years and the budget is Euro 4.2 million. Source: www.metla.fi  

African news – Bell Equipment and John Deere to remain partners.
Even though Bell and John Deere are no longer collaborating on the manufacture of articulated dump trucks (ADT’s), Deere will maintain its ownership stake in Bell Equipment, and Bell Equipment will continue to be the dealer for John Deere forestry and construction equipment in Southern Africa.
