Tigercat increases product support capacity in South America

Waldir Kelcheski has joined the Tigercat product support team in the position of South America factory representative. Based in Tres Barras, Santa Catarina, Brazil, Waldir will focus on providing after sale technical and commercial support to Tigercat’s growing customer base in South America. He will provide infield technical support to the Tigercat dealer network and assist Tigercat engineering with technical issues, product improvement and new product development. He has eighteen years’ experience working in the forestry industry in a technical support capacity working for companies such as John Deere Forestry, Latin Equipment do Brazil and most recently Waratah. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Source

Ponsse signs an agreement with a Finnish commercial paper programme to expand its financing base

Ponsse Plc has signed an agreement on a Finnish commercial paper programme to the value of EUR 50 million. The main organiser of the programme is OP Corporate Bank. The brokers are OP Corporate Bank and Nordea Bank AB (publ), Finnish Branch. This financial restructuring will diversify Ponsse Plc’s financial base and strengthen the Group’s normal financing of its investments and working capital. Source

The new site has been developed in collaboration with Mascus. The new webpage has a clear and simple design and has been developed to work well on mobile devices. It is easy to get an overview of all available machines in all countries, but it is also effortless to select a filter to only see a certain machine type in a certain country. When you click on a machine; the image and information instantly appears. It is also easy to change language. The new site for used machines covers Europe. Source   

Log Max offers virtual simulator training

The training takes place in a low-stress environment for trainers and trainees. The simulator is able to reduce the impact on productivity by not using actual machines on-site. The Log Max simulator is available in two setups, a desk mounted version or a fully integrated system. Source
