Productivity & costs of forestry operations, and road management courses: Australia and New Zealand, August 2016 – final registrations!

The courses are part of cooperation between Logging-on, CMO and Forme Consulting. The courses are aimed at improving the knowledge and skills of forestry managers and contractors in some of the highest impact areas of the forestry business. Fassi becomes majority owner of crane manufacturer Cranab

Fassi, one of the world's largest manufacturers of cranes for trucks, becomes the majority owner of the Cranab group with the subsidiaries; Vimek, Bracke Forest and Slagkraft, through the acquisition of Z-forestab´s ownership stake in the company. Cranab manufactures cranes for forestry equipment and is located in Vindeln outside Umeå, Sweden. Fassi is already a shareholder in the Cranab group and through this deal becomes the majority owner. Kesla launches a new control system for loaders and cranes

Kesla presents a new electric control system, the KESLA proC, suitable for both timber truck cranes and tractor-mounted loaders. The KESLA proC is an electrical control system based on Parker Iqan hardware with a CAN-bus. The system can also be installed on existing Kesla tractor loaders equipped with an electric Parker or Walvoil control valve.
