Komatsu Forest launches Constant Cut for optimal harvester cutting speeds
The saw unit includes a new saw motor and a new, stable bar mount. It delivers an even cutting speed because the feed speed is automatically adjusted to the chains felling capacity throughout the cutting process. A steady speed of 40 m (130 ft) per second is maintained. Constant Cut is now standard on all C and V heads from Komatsu. Source: www.komatsuforest.com

ECHO introduces new chainsaws with tool-less chain tensioning
The new saws are the CS-370F and CS-400F. They feature the new FasTension chain tensioning system. This allows quick and easy chain tension adjustments or bar and chain replacements without a tightening tool. A rotating lever takes the place of locking nuts and a tensioning wheel replaces an adjustment screw. Source: http://www.echo-usa.com/
