Komatsu Forest shows good results for 2014
Net sales reached a record level, with an increase of almost 11 % from 2013. Operating profit improved due to increased volumes and improved margins. Sales increased in several markets, such as North America, Australia, Great Britain and France. The Nordic market was also strong, with increased sales in Sweden, Finland and Norway. Seppi introduces a new line of flail mulchers for PTO-tractors of up to 200 hp (147 kW)
Three new models of mulcher are available, being the S9 base, S9 dyna and S9 Coupe. The flails can mulch grass and vegetation up to 9 cm (3.5 in) diameter. The rear hood allows adjustment of the degree of mulching. They are suited to uses such as right-of-way management, creation of fire breaks, vegetation management, road side maintenance, land clearing and site prep.
