Volvo initiates field testing of liquid gas in trucks
The trucks will run on liquefied methane gas. Using this technology can increase driving ranges between refuelling up to four times, and have 80% lower carbon emissions. Three Volvo FM trucks with 13 litre engines are being tested. A dedicated filling station will supply their fuel needs. Source: www.volvotrucks.com
Husqvarna 3rd quarter 2010 financial results
They report that product demand has continued to increase, with the strongest demand being from Europe and Asia/Pacific. The operating income from the Americas is still negative due to lower sales.
