The DH 812 Q is a PTO driven chipper for log processing.
This new chipper from Doppstadt is a very compact and flexible precision chipper driven by a PTO for processing logs. It can process logs up to a diameter of 600 mm (2 ft). It can easily be transported between work sites due to it having a central-axle trailer chassis with 2 axles. The chipper weighs 19,000 kg (41,888 lb) and requires PTO power that can range from a minimum of 250 kW (340 hp) to a maximum 370 kW (500 hp). The chipping drum has a speed of 640 rpm (depending on engine speed), a diameter of 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 in), a width of 1,000 mm (39.4 in) and utilises six chipping knives. It has a length of 6,360 mm (20 ft 10 in), a width of 2,550 mm (8 ft 4 in), and a height of 3,750 mm (12 ft 4 in), which is important when being transported. Source: http://www.doppstadt.de/en/home/
