The kit is fitted onto the front-end loader boom of an agricultural tractor.
The boom-kit allows a harvester and firewood processor to be mounted directly onto the front loader attachment of the tractor. The Naarva S23 head can be used with the tractor and new boom kit. The S23 is a hydraulically powered head that can cut, delimb and split trees into firewood. All the functions of the head are controlled using a two directional valve. The boom kit is mounted onto the quick coupling of the tractors boom and does not require any extra hydraulics.
Mounting of the head onto an agricultural tractor is possible due to its light construction weight and low hydraulic oil flow requirements. The boom kit is delivered ready for use. The boom kit consists of a one metre (3.3 ft) boom, the quick coupling device for the tractor, a rotator, a link with a single break, and all valves and hydraulics. The total weight is 70 kg (154 lb). It makes use of Baltrotors GR46 or GR55M rotators and a Baltrotors BR10 link.
