The SG160 is suited to small carrier machines.
The new saw has the same proven saw system as the larger popular SG220 and SG280 grapple saws. The saw weighs from only 120 kg (265 lb). The entire unit operates off only two hydraulic lines. It is suitable for mounting onto tractors, forest trailers and small forwarders. However, it can also be fitted to trucks and small excavators. The SG160 has the same control system as the SG220 and SG280. The grapple saw comes with the following configurations:
- SG160 has two hydraulic lines (grapple open and close), with cable control.
- SG160RC has two hydraulic lines (grapple open and close), with wireless control.
- SG160A has two hydraulic lines (grapple open and close), with cable control, and includes the collecting unit.
- SG160A RC has two hydraulic lines (grapple open and close), with wireless control, and includes the collecting unit.
