Logging-on examined the logging tyres produced by Trelleborg.
Trelleborg forestry tyres are handmade in Sweden. There are various cross ply tyres in their forestry range. The specific tyres are as follows:
- TWIN Forestry (T404, T421 SB, T414, T422SB, T428 SB) – Advanced tyre technology to produce long-lasting tyres. The main features are good stability and comfort, reliability (robustness), and superior pull force and accessibility into difficult areas.
- Agro Forest (T410) – A tyre designed for mixed forestry and agricultural work. It provides good traction, load carrying capability, and durability in agricultural operations.
- Forestry skidder (T418) – For heavy duty logging service. Designed to achieve maximum life when skidding trees by preventing penetration of objects and having good tear resistance under the most severe operating conditions. It has armoured plies which protect the carcass against stumps and rocks.
