A new multi-tree accumulator is now available for a number of Komatsu harvesting heads.
The new accumulators offer greater efficiency, quieter operation, and improved reliability. Komatsu explains that in addition to increased productivity, a multi-tree accumulator also offers the advantage of increased flexibility. This enables the head to be used for more harvesting applications. Komatsu's new multi-tree accumulator is larger than before and designed for increased effectiveness. It can handle 25 percent more timber from tip to tip. It has a cast design and a protected valve, which increases durability, and the new damping plates make multi-tree accumulation quieter as well. The new multi-tree accumulator is an option available for the Komatsu C93, the Komatsu C123, and the Komatsu C144 harvester heads.
