Introducing the new SpeedMax- XL harvester guidebar from Oregon

The new guide bars use Replaceable Sprocket Noses (RSN) from Oregon and boast a number of new features.

The harvester guide bars have wide-steel bodies and have been designed for reliable high output. The wide body design improves chain retention which keeps the operator in the cab for a longer percent of the day. The SpeedMax XL flexes less because of its wider design and the chrome-moly steel it’s made from. The Lubritec chain oiling system keeps the chain and guide bar oiled. Bar durability is achieved with a retooled 14-tooth replaceable sprocket nose and industrial grade components.

The re-engineered extended-length sprocket nose completely covers the normal areas of accelerated rail wear and can be replaced several times. This can significantly increase the life of the bar body. The larger 14-tooth sprocket requires fewer rotations, which reduces heat build-up and extends the life of the nose. The nose has industrial high-alloy bearings that are 14% thicker than the competition. The bar has an extended nose-length of 5.5 in, whereas the previous bar was 4 in. The new bar fits most popular harvesting equipment. Source: http://oregonproducts.com/speedmax/
