Gilbert introduces their new roadside maintenance brushcutter

Independent research has shown the GM brushcutter mower series to be the most productive on the market.

The GM-6 is used to cut excessive vegetation around ditch drains, cut slopes and trees close to the road. It is aimed for use in forestry and other land-use roads. It is mounted on a folding boom arm which provides good manoeuvrability and total reach of 4.9 m (16 ft). The GM-6 can cut stems up to 20 cm (8 in) at an average travelling speed of six km/hr (3.7 mi/hr). The high productivity is achieved through a patented concept that cuts the vegetation as opposed to mulching it. The head can be installed on most motor graders or carriers that use standard hydraulic and fixing points for easy fitment and removal.

According to Gilbert, FPInnovations has carried out research that compared similar brushcutters. The research found the GM-Series to be the most cost-effective roadside maintenance equipment. It is up to four times faster than any similar application. Source: www.gilbert-tech.com
