A wide range of attachments allows the SFH to be used a stone crusher, forestry tiller or mulcher.
The SFH fixed teeth rotor model can be used with tractors with power ratings of up to 368 kW (500 hp). It can grind trees of up to 45 cm (18 in) and stones of up to 35 cm (14 in) diameter, and reaches 40 cm (16 in) in depth. The transmission uses a side gearbox which converts the speed into shredding power. This, together with the tool options and the rotor make the SFH model unique.
Also available as an option with all PrimeTech models of tracked carriers is the GPS Plus System, which measures the net mulched surface with an accuracy of 0 to 20 cm (0 to 8 in). The daily work records are saved on a built-in USB stick and can be easily transferred to a laptop or computer. Using specialised software, the data can be analysed and the net mulched surface calculated. Maps and reports can also be generated. Features of the new attachment include a compact 4.3” colour display, one-touch function buttons, rugged construction for everyday use, a high-performance, integrated GPS receiver with high accuracy and USB data transfer for in-office analysis
The major benefits of the data recording are that it is possible to determine the actual surface that was mulched, net of overlaps and net of additional passes (second or more pass on same surface); invoicing and charging out can be based on the net worked area; one can determine the daily productivity of a unit per operator; and it is possible to facilitate the calculation of operating costs per unit area (e.g. hectare).
