- Knives are ¾ inch (1.9 cm) thicker – more tolerant to wear and nicks.
- Wider drum with reduced gap between drum and housing – lower quantity of small branches passing through unprocessed, improving chip quality.
- Babbit style counter knife – breaks chips off, protects the holders, prevents wood packing, and is adjustable for consistent chip length.
