Eco Log and Gremo moving forward in yellow tones

The planning and preparations for future production have already begun.

The very first Gremo machine will be produced in the Eco Log factory in Söderhamn. Since the information of the merger went public, repeated questions have been asked about the looks of the machines, their names and which models will be part of the future range. The interest has been big with a lot of suggestions for new names. Eco Log can now announce that all machines will carry both the Eco Log name and colour moving forward.

However, customers can be assured that beneath the yellow surface the content will still be recognized regardless whether the earlier experience comes from Eco Log or Gremo. It is understood that Gremo machines have good qualities that are valued amongst the customers. Even if the machines will be named and look like Eco Log, it is very important to Eco Log that customers feel confident in what they get and recognize the functionality they are used to.

Eco Log will integrate Gremo Service and After-Sales in their existing organization to make sure customers of Gremo still experience the same high up-time as before. Since Gremo’s smaller forwarders are now added to the existing Eco Log range, customers will see a machine line-up consisting of no less than five forwarder models with a loading capacity from 8.5 to 20 tonnes. Also, the range of Eco Log harvesters will be complemented with a small, eight-wheeled harvester and this means an opportunity not only to increase the customers’ benefit but also to attract new customers going forward. The forwarder Line-up will include:

  • Eco Log 750 (previously Gremo), load capacity 8.5 tonnes.
  • Eco Log 1050 (previously Gremo) load capacity 10.5 tonnes.
  • Eco Log 1250 (previously Gremo), load capacity 12.5 tonnes.
  • Eco Log 574F, load capacity 14 tonnes
  • Eco Log 594F, load capacity 20 tonnes

The lighter, eight-wheeled harvester from Gremo will be added to the existing Eco Log harvester models and carry the name Eco Log 1058 (15.9 tonnes, tare weight). Source
