Doppstadt brings a new mobile shredder to the market

The Doppstadt Shredder DW 3060 Type D is able to processes difficult materials such as stumps.

The DW 3060 has a new Mercedes OM 460 Tier 4 Final diesel engine, without the need for a particulate filter. The new engine has increased torque and reduced fuel consumption. The shredder is equipped with a mechanical direct drive and a reinforced Bosch-Rexroth planetary gear. The machine uses a new, easy to use multifunctional display, allowing the machine data to be easily and precisely read off or regulated. To increase safety the operator can control the machine out of the cabin of the loader. All relevant machine parameters are displayed visually and acoustically on the multi control.

Maintenance has been simplified to allow even relatively untrained service personnel to carry out maintenance and repairs. The entire electrical system has been removed from the engine compartment. Improved noise insulation at the radiator door ensures reduced noise levels. A new automatic comb pressure system improves shredding efficiency and in the case of overload it prevents the machine from stopping operating. Doppstadt also uses an automatic pressure preselection system called Variocontrol to register load conditions during the shredding process and adjusts the shredding comb pressure accordingly. The DW 3060 Type D can be quickly adjusted to various shredding requirements. Source: http://doppstadt.de/en/news/news/details/?tx_news_pi1%5Bnews%5D=14&cHash=4f9d2bf7ef13b5ae9612d6e6b3c0ec1e
