Doosan aims to educate owners and operators regarding machine safety, and operation and maintenance of their products. The videos show proper operating and maintenance procedures to improve up-time and productivity. Each video is 20 minutes long and contains versions in English, Spanish or French, all on the same DVD. The videos can be purchased as a single DVD from your local Doosan dealership. The English version of the videos can also be accessed and watched via the Doosan website.
Doosan does caution that the safety training videos are not a substitute for the machine’s operation and maintenance manual, as this is the primary guide for correct and safe machine operation and maintenance. Doosan also indicates that in order to obtain the most value from the videos, operators should be familiar with safety and instructional decals on heavy equipment. The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) safety manuals for operating and maintaining off-highway dump trucks, wheel loaders and excavators should also be used as reference for training and good machine operation.
