Kesla introduces a new harvesting head

The 18RH-II harvester head features improved durability and is more maintenance friendly.

The new Kesla 18RH-II harvesting head makes use of an improved frame, delimbing knives, shafts and bearings to provide good durability and lower maintenance. It makes use of a new open valve hydraulic system to provide higher feeding power and speed, while lowering fuel consumption of the carrier machine. The new valve also has a hydraulic anti-slip function for the feed rollers. Even with the additional power, the head weight has not increased. The room for the valves is now bigger, which allows more space for hoses and other accessories. This has also improved maintenance access. The 18RH-II can be fitted to 7 to 13 ton wheeled harvesters, large agricultural tractors, or 7 to 10 ton excavators. The key specifications are included in the table below. Source: www.kesla.com
