Nisula now offer their harvester heads as options on Vimek harvester and combination machines.
The Nisula 325H wheel-fed harvester head is now an option on the Vimek 404 SE harvester and the 404 Duo combination machine, in addition to the harvesting head from Keto Harvester Oy. The two Finnish-manufactured heads have slightly different strengths and they are now able to offer customers more alternatives.
The company, which was founded in 1978, is located in Jämsä Halli in Finland and specializes in the design, development and manufacture of, among other things, thinning harvesters, harvester heads and biofuel aggregates as well as other forest machines and equipment. Nisula harvester heads have a simple structure and are easy to maintain. They are manufactured from high quality materials and components which guarantee good quality.
The Nisula 325H head is particularly suitable for first thinning and processing of sprigs of energy forest. It is equipped with one fixed and three movable twig knives, which improves stock keeping and helps to make harvesting efficient and smooth. The head is easy to maintain. All lubrication points can be lubricated with the unit in the same position. The head has no longitudinal cylinder movement which minimises hose movements and thus the risk of hose damage. The saw control and automatic chain tension improve efficiency and reduce the costs for saw chains and sawdust.
Trials have shown the head to have good and reliable length and diameter measurement, good production, stock grip when felling, lower operating costs due to the wheel feed, does not pack snow and is lighter than the comparative head. Source
