The 875 logger is a 36,000 kg (80,000 lb) carrier that has boom options for loading or processing applications. It is powered by a FPT 6.7 litre Tier 4i engine which produces 210 kW (282 hp) of power. To assist in achieving low fuel consumption figures, the 875 is equipped with variable speed cooling and Tigercats closed loop energy recovery swing system. It has a twin swing drive system for powerful swing torque. This also reduces gear tooth-loads for improved reliability in harsh operating conditions. The 875 makes use of the F7-150 heavy duty undercarriage, designed to provide a stable base for good performance and operator comfort.
As with all Tigercat machines, the operator cab is spacious and provides excellent visibility of the work environment, with floor windows providing a clear view of the tracks. Maintenance accessibility has been focussed on by the designers, allowing easy access to daily servicing points and major components. The engine and hydraulic components are shielded and compartmentalised. Source: http://www.tigercat.com/news-items/new-875-logger
