Tigercat introduce their first G-Series drive-to-tree feller buncher

The new 724G feller buncher is powered by a Tier 4 final engine.

The new machine made its debut at the Mid-South Forestry Show in Starkville, Mississippi, from 19 to 20 September. The 724G is powered by a Tigercat FPT N67 Tier 4 Final emission compliant engine. Tigercat has chosen a path of meeting the emission requirements using the simplest possible technology to ensure maximum uptime when working out in the forest. The new machines has more power than before, with engine power increasing from 162 kW (220 hp) to 182 kW (247 hp). The engine is fully supported by Tigercat, including all parts, service, warranty and technical support, making the new feller buncher much easier to own and maintain.

The engine enclosure roof profile has been redesigned for improved visibility. The engine, hydraulic and electrical component layout have all been improved for maintenance access. The operator is provided with a large colour screen display for accurate and clear information for engine and machine monitoring.
