The new Nokian Hakka Truck steer is good for stable steering and good mileage

The Nokian Hakka Truck range will be complemented with the new premium all-season Nokian Hakka Truck Steer.

Nokian tyres set out to create a steering tyre that is suitable for all-weather long and medium haul. The new tyre has good wear resistance, low rolling resistance, and grip on wet as well as snowy roads while providing a quiet drive. A new innovation is a type of sipe activator called ‘Oka’ (Finnish for ‘Thorn’) because of their shape. The efficient siping is one of the factors that give Nokian Hakka Steer its grip.

The Nokian Hakka Truck Steer is designed to be durable and have a long service life. The wider tread and even wear pattern give better mileage. Nokian have also developed ways to prevent stone trapping by coming up with a new kind of stepped rock resistor on the groove walls, making the tyre carcass less susceptible to damage from stone drilling.

Nokian has noted that the demand for superior quality all-weather tyres has been growing in the past years. The 315/80R22.5 and 315/70R22.5 is being released in third quarter of 2017, the 295/80R22.5 in the fourth quarter of 2017 and the 385/65R22.5 in the first quarter of 2018. Source
