COFE and FORMEC Fall Meeting in Corvallis Rescheduled for June 2021

The planned COFE annual meeting this fall was to be a collective meeting with FORMEC.  With the current uncertainty and required travel planning window for our members and especially those coming from abroad, the meeting has been officially postponed and rescheduled for 6 - 9 June 2021 -- still in Corvallis. Axel Johnson International’s business group Driveline Solutions strengthens its position in the driveline market via its investment in Elforest AB, effective 31 March 2020. Elforest is a technical consultant, focused on electric and hybrid-electric driveline systems for mobile off-highway segment, serving a number of recognised OEMs in the Nordic market. Source

Usewood  produces a new timber cart

The new cart has a load capacity pf 2000 kg (4,400 lb). The hydraulically driven bogies are directly connected to the drive hydraulics of the Usewood machine. The trolley has a 70 cm (28 in) hydraulic telescope at the front of the trolley, which allows the trolley to be loaded with a Usewood Forwarder and Combi loader without removing the trolley. Source
