Four videos can be viewed from the Detroit Diesel website. Logging-on particularly enjoyed the “Driving for Fuel Economy” video, which provides some very useful driver information. The videos on how engine electronic systems work and how emissions standards are reached should also be viewed by drivers.

Spreadsheet based costing model for estimating roads construction costs.
The new tool, called ACCEL, uses Microsoft Excel to compute the costs of construction components using interactive sheets, automated tasks, and advanced computer routines. All road construction components are considered, including road design elements. The computer programme is described and tested in a research article published in the Western Journal of Applied Forestry, 26(4) 2011, pages 189 to 197.

Ponsse shows positive third quarter financial results.
