New hope for Forest Engineering research in Australia.
The CRC for Forestry will cease to exist in July 2012. Mark Brown, the current CRC programme leader for Harvesting and Operations will be taking up the position of Professor of Forestry Operations at the University of the Sunshine Coast. The 4000th head was a LogMax 7000XT produced at the Logmax factory in Grangarde, Sweden, and was shipped to a customer in the western USA. Logmax produced their first head in 1980, and is now represented across the globe, producing 12 different harvester heads. Source: www.logmax.com
