Ritchie Bros. and Caterpillar Inc. announce strategic alliance
Ritchie Bros. will become the preferred provider to Caterpillar and participating dealers for Caterpillar Equipment upon closing of Ritchie Bros.’ acquisition of IronPlanet. Ritchie Bros. will become Caterpillar’s preferred global partner for live onsite and online auctions with respect to used Caterpillar equipment, and will complement Caterpillar’s existing dealer channels. Rottne establishes an official distributor of their forest machines in Russia
Rottne Industri has signed an agreement with Ferronordic Machines AB, which becomes the official distributor of Rottne forest machines in Russia. The agreement with Ferronordic comes into force in December 2016. Rottne has also developed a whole new series of forwarders and harvesters with Volvo Penta engines, which are specially adapted for the Russian market. The first forwarders will be available early next year, and later also harvesters and harvester heads.
