Newsflash - What's happening in Forest Engineering?

Dingoma SA produces speciality forwarders operating mainly in Spain, Portugal and southern France

They are a Spanish company, started in 1992, that manufactures forestry vehicles. Dingoma SA specialises in forwarders adapted to the difficult conditions of the northwest of Spain (steep slope and narrow forest tracks). More than 350 Dingo forwarders have been built to date. They have also developed a forest fire fighting vehicle. Features of the forwarders include a high travel speed of 40km per hour (25 miles per hour), the narrow vehicle width (from 2,28m / 7.5 ft), low fuel consumption and good value for money. Global wood products industry market set to rebound next year

The economy in the euro zone is expected to pick up and construction projects should increase in number. In the pulp and paper market, the two opposite trends seen in recent years are likely to continue. Global consumption of packaging materials, pulp and tissue paper continues to increase, while demand for printing paper is falling. Low prices of fossil fuels and emissions allowances, as well as uncertainty related to the EU’s aid policy, are holding back investment decisions and curbing growth in forest energy.
