New international conference to focus on energy wood supply chains
The event, titled “Conference on Biomass Mobilization”, will be held in the FAO headquarters in Rome on 19 May 2015. The conference is free to anyone who registers within the prescribed time (timely registration is mandatory). FPInnovations celebrates the sale of their 500th FPDat
FPDat is a tool developed by FPInnovations Forest Operations division to manage and increase efficiency in forest machines. It collects data on the performance and productivity of forest machines. Ponsse produces their 10,000th forest machine
The first Ponsse machine was delivered by Einari Vidgren in 1971. Ponsse handed over the 10,000th machine to a customer on 30 January. Both these machines were sold to customers in Karttula, Finland. Ponsse logging machines have now been sold in more than 40 countries. Source: www.ponsse.com
