A Maine logger wins the Loader Championship sponsored by Caterpillar Forest Products

The Northeastern Forest Products Equipment Expo in Vermont took place in May. Contestants demonstrate their skill with a knuckleboom log loader by picking up and moving blocks between two checkerboards Shaun McLucas of Rangeley, Main, won first place with a time of 2 minutes and 36 seconds. Marc Riendeau of Danville, Vermont, won second place with a time of 2 minutes and 49 seconds, and Kyle Kelley of Hillsborough, New Hampshire, won third place with a time of 2 minutes and 50 seconds. The Loader Championship sponsored by Caterpillar Forest Products was first introduced as the Prentice™ Loader Championship at the sawmill and logging show in Richmond in 1972. Source

Tigercat appoints a new product support representative for the Pacific northwest

Damien Donoher will be based in Snohomish, Washington. He joins Tigercat from the agricultural equipment industry. Damien holds a degree in agricultural engineering and has previously worked as a product support representative and field service engineer for agricultural equipment manufacturers based in Canada and Europe. Damien has strong technical knowledge related to diesel engines, hydraulic and electronic systems for mobile equipment and electronic control systems. Source
