John Deere Construction and Forestry reports sharply higher profit in 3rd quarter
Company equipment sales are projected to increase by about 4 percent for fiscal 2019 compared with 2018. Net sales and revenues are projected to increase about 5 percent for fiscal 2019. In spite of present global challenges, the long-term outlook for John Deere’s businesses remains healthy. In additional news, Deere has elected John C. May as a member of the board, effective immediately, and to the position of Chief Executive Officer, effective November 4, 2019. USA news: Komatsu America has a new forestry dealer for Alabama, Georgia and northwest Florida
Komatsu America appointed Tractor & Equipment Company (TEC) as the forestry equipment distributor for the states of Alabama, Georgia and the northwest region of Florida. TEC will handle the full-line of Komatsu forestry equipment, which includes track feller bunchers, log loaders, wheeled harvesters, forwarders, and harvesting/processing heads. TEC is already the distributor in these regions for Komatsu construction and mining equipment. Source
