John Deere reports strong gains in second quarter construction and forestry sales and profit
Deere reports Second-Quarter net income of $ 1.135 Billion. Quarterly net sales rose 5% to $ 10.3 billion. Construction and Forestry sales and profit registered strong gains. Persistent uncertainty in agricultural markets weighed on the outlook for the remainder of the year. The full-year earnings forecast was revised to $ 3.3 billion on a sales increase of about 5%. Komatsu Forestry announces a new oil wear analysis system
Komatsu Forestry announces Komatsu Oil Wear Analysis (KOWA) is now the official forestry fluid analysis provider for North America. KOWA serves its North American customers through partnerships with oil analysis laboratories, Fluid Life and Bureau Veritas. KOWA has been an established Komatsu program for more than 40 years. JCB is celebrating 50 years of wheeled loader manufacturing
The company entered the wheeled loader market with the acquisition UK-based Chaseside Engineering, taking on its seven rigid axle machines. As the 50th anniversary is marked, JCB now produces wheeled loaders in their thousands on production lines around the world, including the UK, India, Brazil and China. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of JCB opening a multi-million pound factory in Cheadle, Staffordshire dedicated to the production of wheeled loaders.
