Tigercat announces additional factory support for New Zealand

Warren Nolan has been appointed to the position of product support representative for New Zealand. Based in Papamoa Beach on the North Island, Warren is joining Tigercat with over thirty years of experience in the forestry industry. Warren started his career working for his fathers logging business and then continued his career as a harvester owner-operator for 18 years. Warren has experience in all aspects of logging, previously working for Satco Logging Attachments for six years as an operator trainer, applications specialist and product support representative. Warren has strong technical knowledge of Dasa 5 control systems based on his extensive work experience with these programs. Source

John Deere’s Construction & Forestry results move strongly higher

Deere has reported overall First-Quarter Income of $ 498 Million. Net sales rose 16% to $ 6.94 billion. Forecast for 2019 predict a net income of approximately $ 3.6 billion and sales increases of approximately 7%. Source

UD Trucks heavy duty Quon 8-Liter model goes on sale

UD Trucks has added to its flagship Quon heavy duty truck line-up with a new 8-liter engine model. The 8-liter engine achieves a 300 kg weight reduction, substantially improving load efficiency. The new model is an answer to the small-engine displacement needs of logistics operators who require load efficiency over short and medium distances. Source

Pezzolato opens a new branch in France

Pezzolato has been in the French market for over 20 years, mainly selling wood chippers and firewood processors. From February, Pezzolato will have a branch in France (Pezzolato France).
