New road construction products - B Series motor graders from Case

The new Case 865B motor grader has received major cab, power and efficiency improvements.

The 865B VHP (variable horsepower) is the first model in the new B Series product line. It has a Case 6.7 litre engine with three horsepower ratings to match different applications and optimise fuel efficiency.

The forward mounted articulation joint and rear-mounted cab provides the operator with an excellent view of the mouldboard and other equipment. The cab is more spacious than previous models, and has improved control layout. The traditional nine-lever controls remain, as they are preferred by most operators.

On a more technical note, the hydraulic control valve is designed specifically for grading applications. It gives the operator more accurate control and better feel for the work being carried out. The circle design, with outer-facing gear teeth, improves operation and serviceability. This design maintains gear power and increases the life of the circle drive components. Finally, an exclusive multi-radius, involute mouldboard allows more material to be moved with less horsepower and fuel than competitive models. Key specifications are included in the table below.
