The growth was buoyed by a growth in sales in the Logset USA and Russian markets
Logset Oy´s turnover grew significantly in 2017 and was reflected in improved financial results. The turnover for 2017 was 30 922 k€ (compared to 27 664 k€ in 2016). The operating profit was 935 k€. The Logset order book is also at satisfying levels.
2017 was a year where Logset spent much focus on strengthening theirs sales network and on product development. Logset signed significant dealer agreements with Fabick Cat and Milton Cat in the USA. The USA is a new market for Logset, and sales are expected to increase while also providing a balance for variations in demand for the products on a global level. Logset also signed two new dealer agreements with Tehnocom and Daltehnotrade in Russia. During 2017, Russia became Logset’s second largest market area after France, and this market growth is expected to continue. Logset’s product development focused on their new control system for logging machines, the Logset TOC 2 (Total Operation and Control). The Logset TOC 2 was launched in the summer of 2017.
Logset has an optimistic outlook for 2018 due to their larger sales network and the growing demand for products. High demand is expected to continue for the Logset 12H GTE Hybrid harvester. Demand is also expected to be higher in 2018 for Logset’s other harvester models and harvester heads. Logset launched the Logset 12H GTE Hybrid in 2016 and it is the world´s first hybrid harvester.
